A Love Poem, Finally๐Ÿ—บ️๐Ÿก

Scribble, Scribble, Scribble,
Crumbling another poem on paper
without a word,
Oh! Wait, scribbling on your skin.๐ŸชŸ

The beautiful arc of the stretch marks—I always wish I had one.
Ammi had many;
she told me Nani got some after giving birth to her.

I stole a man with a scribble [strech marks].

Oh! I can't stop imagining the loud crackles during heavy rain-

One in his eyes that I name his cheeks a land of tears,
Other outside his window of the slurs people speak for him.
Their ugly mindsets never come close
to even his bin polythene. ๐Ÿ—‘️

The man I stole wore long sleeves to hide the stretch marks. ๐Ÿ‘”

I wore long sleeves to avoid being questioned about my favorite burnt skin,
Hey, what kind of mark are on your neck and forearms.” ๐Ÿ‘˜

I am tired of telling them
How much I love my burnt skin,
As they made me a living story.

Along the ocean of unbothered waves,
I'm tired of his disgust for hating his stretch marks.

Sometimes I carve a line or two, ๐Ÿ–‹️
a tangent
On his warm hands making sure it's a part our favourite memory. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
The candle sways with the sound of rain. ๐ŸŒง️๐Ÿ•ฏ️

I cannot fix the scars,
but I will sit with the grief,
till the pain in the eyes of my beloved fades.

Last night
He cried for the first time
In 3 years!
The calm constant smiling face
Piled up with regrets and remorse
Of things he never did.

What punishment one gains,
For being the victim of any disaster?
Tears after tears
The cheeks turned red
The sobs unstoppable,
I stayed.
Swayed him in arms gently,
Till the thunder and whimper United.

What is love without companionship?
What is love without the dilemma of falling in love with the grief?
What is companionship without diving deep into the abyss of uncertainty?

The sun is bright this morning
So his face
The sunrise Orange paralleled
His tender cheeks.

The blazing red of the fajr sky
Connected the dots well on his chapped lips
Dry, serene, and lovely. ๐Ÿ’•

The Scene 1
Rainfall is called rehmat of Almighty
Love is an answered dua,
Nestled bestowed Mercy. ๐Ÿ‰

For the first time in life
He slept without the drenched nightmare.
And I
Welcomed Love like a new guest,
Or maybe as a long lost friend,
But...
For sure in the dictionary of heart- A KINDE!๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ—บ️
