Four years ago (today), Ms Neha Mahanta (now an amazing Prof.) had the responsibility of making the WhatsApp group for our Prof. Chakravarty. We get to choose our assignment on Courtly Love that too from the era when kings used to have pearls instead of lights in their provinces, in the era where not just chivalry but love is dead as well.
The messed up Masters schedule made us scared even though we practiced well for the Presentation.
Ms Ekta Chauhan and Ms Manisha Yadav (now a Prof. herself *giggles*) were laughing at the audacity of another group telling us that we had prepared well, as they saw us skipping the dinner and breakfast, while roaming with a stern face, with a bundle of yellow sheets.
Courtly Love, romantic chivalry, pissing at others (there's a whole ritual), fighting with your best friends for the sake of a beautiful face (coral lips, crystal eyes *chuckles*). The world is still the same, no wonder I need to dive into the historical ocean to find where we come from. I still remember the grinning and awkward faces of the class while explaining the “love of a highly specialized sort” with the intervention of the peeing ritual and Prof Chakravarty explaining that with the speed of flash, One of the wise prof from the department. I miss classes.
There's a doodle of Divyansh during the class, while everything went over my head because it was my presentation right after him, while sharing nervousness to this amazing woman whom I can call my friend today.
If there's anything in my life that I'll never stop loving is classes, green campus, passionate heart with worried faces running down the stairways, sound of calcium carbonate or markers on the writing boards, the curriculum and everything a university engulfs in its small world, to the sudden plan of “let's go, eat something" and then cancelling the plan just to bug about University.
Isse acha dusri University me apply kar dete;
phir classes cancel;
Let's get a cup of chai for the next class;
Why do they need to check my I'd at 7:30 am, why this snobby person would care to slip in campus at such dreamy hours?
Library is cooool!
“JSTOR's subscription”...what's that?
